Scaremont brings free trick-or-treating and a movie to Waterfront Park October 27
The evening includes a costume contest with no advance registration required.

Clermont’s Scaremont Halloween on the Trail is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Waterfront Park. The free event pairs trick-or-treat stations with seasonal activities and a showing of “Hotel Transylvania” at 7 p.m.
Families can also enter the Creepy Clermont Costume Contest without paying or registering ahead. Stop at the City of Clermont tent to enter. The categories include best costume and best family costume, and the city asks participants to keep costumes family-friendly.
Clermont Police and participating organizations will provide the treat stations. Arrive before the film if you want time for the other activities. The city’s event page has separate booth and food-vendor applications for organizations interested in participating.
